I still haven't gotten around to wallpapering my half bath downstairs.  It's not the expense of the wallpaper that's stopping me (well...) but it's that I don't know how to wallpaper.  I think I could do it if I had no obstacles in the way but the bathrrom?  There's the pedestal sink, light fixture, window and mirror, funky sloped ceiling and 10 ft ceiling to deal with.  I'll leave that to the pros.  But one thing I do know about is paint. So, I may have an alternative to wallpaper figured out.  Stencils.  Yes, stencils.  I am always changing my mind so if i don't like it I can change it and I can do it myself.  Take a look at some of these pictures of stenciled walls....

This weekend I started the kitchen makeover.  I started painting the cabinets.  They are going from dark wood stain to white.  I am very excited about this.  I know it's going to take a lot of work and time on my part but I am willing to do it because I believe in the end result.  Pictures will come soon, but in the mean time take a look at pictures of this kitchen redo from the Isabella and Max rooms blog.  These pictures were sent in from a reader named Kristi.  That's all the info I have.  As I have said in previous posts, I have seriously been thinking about tackling this project and these pictures put me over the edge.
