New Rug at Home Decorators
After yesterday's post about the beautiful blue couch, I went to the company's website to see what the total order price would be including shipping. AND I can't beleive it, they don't have delivery! You have to pick it up at their warehouse which is in Fargo, ND. So....guess I'm not getting that couch. The search continues....
Thought I'd share a beautiful rug I found in the Home Decorators catalog recently. I think it needs a home in my house. Surely I can find a space for it.

It comes in 3 different colors but this Gold/Grey combo is my favorite. And at under $500 bucks for an 8x11, that's a steal.
Also love anything houndstooth but especially their yellow houndstooth rug. This would look awesome with navy in the room. Maybe a navy couch or just a neutral couch with navy painted accent tables.

It's been a while...
Haven't posted in a while. Guess it's time to get back to it. Let's start back with a couch that I really, really want to be in my house. It's been like 10 years since we bought our last couch and with dogs and kids the couch must be 20 years old in couch years. It's so time for a new one. Here's what I have my eye on...
Love the color of this couch. Thinking that some throw pillows with orange would be nice. Our existing couch was red when we bought it but over the years the twill has faded into a nice red pink. Not fun anymore. Couch fairies are you out there????

1 day 14 hours 24 minutes and counting.....
It's almost here! Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I will be taking a few days off from blogging to finish up last minute Christmas details and to spend this wonderful time with friends and family. I will spend most of the day tomorrow watching over my burgandy mushrooms that I am taking to Christmas dinner on Sunday. I saw Ree Drummond make them on the Pioneer Woman Christmas special on Food Network the other day and I HAVE to make them. They are super easy but take 9 hours. Yes, 9 hours. But from what I hear it's worth it. We shall see.
They look delicious. They'll go great with the beef tenderloin!
