How many times growing up did you hear... shut that door, were you raised in a barn?  Well... now you can say yes, sort of.  Have you seen the trend in using barn doors indoors?  I love it.  It adds a little something more than just plain doors.

What do you think?  Would you consider this in your home?

I don't think I have a favorite color because I love them all so much, but if I had to pick one it might be.... blue.  Blue is so relaxing and calming. I don't have any blue rooms in my house, maybe it's because blue has a tendency to feel cold sometimes.  Check out these blue inspiration rooms that are definitely anything but cold.  

I finished painting the playroom last night and I must say it looks great!  I am in love with the paint color I chose.  Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray.  Love it!  Why didn't I do it sooner?  Once I track down the camera tonight I will post pictures.  In the meantime enjoy some images of these lovely white kitchens.

I was checking Joss and Main the other day and found this awesome yellow storage trunk.  There's no such thing as too much storage at my house and when you can get it in the form of a really cool looking trunk that will also serve as the coffe table in the playroom, well it's a win win. 

How fun is that?  I found it on Joss and Main but you can buy it here.  They come in 9 different sizes and 19 colors.  Like I said, I will be using it as a coffee table and storage for toys but you can use it for anything you like. Here are a few other fun colors...

While looking around in blog land on Friday, I came across a new blog that I absolutely love!  Amanda writes the blog Dixie Delights and I am so impressed with her creativity.  You have to check out these pictures of her basement redo.  I LOVE this room!

Don't you just love it?  I have been a big fan of gray and yellow for some time now am currently redoing our playroom using these colors.  You should really hop over to Dixie Delights and check out the complete home redo that Amanda did.  Plus I promise you will love the rest of her blog too!

Do you read Real Simple magazine?  I recently started getting it and April's issue came the other day.  I really enjoy the organization ideas.  Lord knows I need all the help I can get in that department.  I finally had time to take a look at it this morning and I found some really neat things to share.

You know those Asian inspired garden stools that you see everywhere these days? They look like this...

I think this is a cool twist on that.

These are tree trunk tables made by Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams.  They are a litle more expensive at around $370 each but I think there will be less expensive versions on the market soon.

I spotted these double walled clear glass mugs. They look really cool.

Spotted this brush which I have never even heard of but will be bringing home soon.

This is the Goody QuikStyle Paddle Brush.  It says that it has microfiber between the bristles to absorb water as you style your hair to cut down on drying time.  Sounds great.  $12 at Target.

Spotted this mini printer that prints out photos like the old polaroid cameras that you can print straight from your phone.

It's a portable photo booth.  It runs about $150 on polaroid.com.  I think this would make a great birthday or Christmas present for somone.

And last but not least, I noticed the Isala collection from Ikea.  Really cute and a great price.

Coffee tables, Armoires, sideboards...  Cute.
