Bungalow 4

What to do with my same old tired red couch?  I am still having trouble figuring out how I want to decorate my lving room.  I have an older red couch but can't get a new one with the little children in the house.  Not practical.  I just can't decide on a color scheme.  I love bright and bold and yet I love calm and serene....and black and white with a pop.  I bought the Schumacher Chiang Mai dragon pillows in aqua to revive the couch and they did.  I love all the colors in the pillows but I am trying to decorate on a budget and not buy all new everything.  That's the biggest challenge.  I guess my next step is to just start finding pictures that I love and try and go from there.  Here's a pretty room with a red couch.

Color trend: Mint

How do you feel about mint?  I think I love it!

Anybody have a juicer?  I have been seeing a lot of posts on blogs lately of people talking about using juicers.  I have never had one and never really felt the need for it.  But I am starting to rethink this.  A delicious way to get a full days serving of fruits and veggies.  That's a win.  But having my kiddos drink it up and love it becuase it tastes good.  That's a win-win.  So here's my question.  Does anyone out there have a juicer and use it?  I have no idea where to find one that will really work like it's suppose to.  Plus, I have a feeling that they are crazy expensive. 

Any ideas or thoughts?  I would love to know what you think.

Loving painted floors...

I really could see myself doing this at some point.  We have nice hardwoods (well, they were nice before our lab messed them up) that will need to be refinished at some point and I could possibly go for doing the painted floor thing.  What do you think about painted floors?  Is this something you would do in your house?

For all of you reading or that have read 50 Shades of Grey, you must check out the post she did on it.  I know just about every woman in the world is reading this book.  Frankly, there are a lot of men who should read it...just sayin'.  Anyway, my bookclub recently chose to read this and I'm glad because I had already started.  I had no idea what the book was about, just heard it was riskay.  And boy is it.  I came across the blog post on Aestate the other day and just had to share.
